What Drone Gear would you Buy if you were Given $1000 to Spend?

I’m doing a little experiment here.

Hypothetical question: imagine you were walking by a drone shop and running out the doors came the owner of the shop.

He races up to you and says – ‘It’s your lucky day – I’m going to give you anything in my shop up to the value of $1000’!

You’ve got just 15 minutes to pick anything you want, but it has to be a drone or an accessory (external camera, carrying case or any other kind of drone gear that you can find) – what would you get?

You can get as many products as you like as long as they total $1000 or less.

Lets use the prices at Amazon’s Drone Gear Shop  as a price guide, since they have most things, but don’t get too caught up in the details – really I’m asking what drone gear you’re currently thinking about purchasing!

Let me know in the comments below 🙂

If I could add to the $1000 I would get the DJI Inspire, but that’s because I already own the Yuneec Typhoon H. If I couldn’t add to the $1000 I would certainly get the Autel Xstar Premium.

First of all, congrats on finally getting that Typhoon, Michael 🙂 Let me know how it flies!
Is there any reason why you’re not mentioning buying RealSense for your Typhoon drone for those $1000?

Although I agree that owning another drone is definitely more appealing than just an accessory 🙂

I would definitely buy whatever drone a 1000$ could get me so that way I can get more and better aerial coverage of drone photography. I honestly feel I have the potential to be awesome. I am really eyeing either the yuneec typhoon or maybe a chroma drone. Hope I could win would mean alot

I would build the ultimate nano brushless pusher, every part the best of the best and a beast controller with epic range antenna mods. That still wouldn’t come close to $1000 so maybe add some fun stuff like a speaker that will play a few sounds mapped to buttons on the controller like that airhorn sound that everyone uses. Heck for $1000 I could do that and build a fantastic 250mm FPV. And get the best batteries and build the best mods for the 3 tiny quadcopters I have now.

Mihail i would get another Autel X-Star. I love my “Great Pumpkin”, and would like to have a second as a backup in case anything ever happened. Or to just add to the fleet, and have it to fly with my son or anyone else that wanted to. I could also use it commercially as a secondary, once I get my remote pilot certificate!

I believe I would also purchase the Autel Robotics X-Star Premium Drone with 4K Camera and if there is enough left over an extra Battery. I’ve heard a bit of good Reviews, and the price is hard too beat.. 🙂
